From curiosity to career – my journey as a software engineer

more about me

My passion for building websites and web applications began early and naturally led me to pursue IT in technical school. There, I gained a broad foundation in computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux, Windows Server), relational databases, and programming with PHP, JavaScript, and C++.

After graduating, I focused entirely on web development—learning through online courses, diving deep into documentation, and building real projects. Within a year, I completed several commercial websites using WordPress and enrolled in a specialized JavaScript & Front-End Developer bootcamp.

Soon after, I landed my first role as a Web Developer and began studying Computer Science with a focus on web and mobile applications.

Learning new technologies is more than just a part of my job—it’s something I truly enjoy. I spend much of my free time experimenting, reading developer blogs, and creating side projects to keep growing as a developer.

T-Mobile Polska

Lead Frontend Developer

Initially joined the team to develop a web application for T-Mobile’s B2B customers to manage ICT services. The stack included Vue 2 with plans for migration to Vue 3, Vuetify, Vuex, and others. I collaborated in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence, and worked closely with designers via Figma.

After being promoted to Lead Frontend Developer, I took on responsibilities such as architectural decisions, mentoring, conducting code reviews, managing technical planning, and ensuring delivery quality across the frontend team.

Webkor

Worked independently and with collaborators on commercial projects for small businesses, covering both frontend and backend responsibilities. Delivered custom websites, e-commerce platforms, and WordPress solutions tailored to client needs.

  • CallContact: Corporate site for Telestrada built with WordPress + Elementor, including backend system integrations.
  • Mojra: Website for a coding school for kids using WordPress, custom child theme, and Gulp with LESS.
  • Tuliróża: Online flower shop with custom PHP backend, Przelewy24 payment integration, database design, and a WordPress + WooCommerce reimplementation.

Telestrada S.A.

Mid Fullstack Developer

Developed and maintained web applications using Vue.js and Laravel, designed and implemented RESTful APIs, and contributed to full-stack features. I was also responsible for planning and building new applications from scratch, conducting code reviews, and participating in developer recruitment.

Additionally, I created a Docker-based local development environment and handled company websites in WordPress—creating custom Gutenberg blocks and building pages based on Figma designs.
